They might be PSD if you work on them in Photoshop (like sizing or cropping) but then you just > SAVE AS, go down the list of things you can save as, including jpg, and save.

As far as I know the pictures are stored in the camera as J.P.G. Unless you instruct the camera to do otherwise. No conversion should be necessary.

If it isn't saved as a .jpeg or .jpg, try putting it into MS Paint and just saving as is.
