These are lens
Canon 24-70 f/2.8L
Canon 70-200 f/2.8
Canon 10-20 - any fast lens here would be great.
Are there any close competitors who provide equal quality.
Kindly post the relevant links.

Tokina is pretty good, Tamron is good for primes (not what you're currently looking for). dpreview and ken rockwell are good and accurate sources for reviews of most camera gear.

Well if your interested in attaching let's say a totally different type of lens not for canon like let's say a 4/3 system type of lens even you can buy a lens converter ring some are even automatic most are manual however if you have a bit more money you can find most any different manufactured dslr lens auto/Manuel etc. To fit a canon by using interchangeable rings.

Sigma does a 24-70 f2.8 IF lens, not the macro one its no good. They do 70-200 f2.8 I think and the Sigma 10-20 is much better than the canon, I did a comparison test and bought the Sigma. I have mostly Sigma lenses and only 1 canon (50mm f1.8 II) so far.

As Timothy said, you can use Sigma, but watch out, some lenses don't have Image Stabilizer.
