By using your Spotlight credits, you can get the image(s) you choose to 'Spotlight' in those light-blue shaded boxes you see featured prominently while browsing the site - usually on the right column on photo and themes pages, etc. and on the top row of the photo browser.
It's a great way to show someone you appreciate their work and highlight it for the entire community!
