Cool Frames

Posted by Devin Poolman on 18 June 2007.

There is something special about having a nicely printed photo in a frame, but that's not to say that digital photo frames aren't intriguing. Well a cool startup from Goshen, Indiana called RedPost has put together a particularly interesting digital picture frame. It has a 19" screen with good resolution (1280x1024), built-in wifi, and runs on a modified version of Linux with an open invitation to hack away. At $549 it's not cheap, and we haven't seen one in person, but it does look good on paper.
