Manhattanhenge Followup

Last week we asked our New York friends to capture the sunset on Thursday and Friday as it aligned itself perfectly with New York's skyline grid. This event, called Manhattanhenge, is obviously a rare occasion, but a fantastic treat for the eye.

After running a search for all JPG photos, I discovered that Manhattanhenge photos are equally rare. This here is a shout-out to Young Yun, who apparently posted the only picture from the occurrence. I also tried searching "New Yorkhenge", "Big Applehenge", and even "Sex and the Cityhenge". Nothing.

Well, here is Young's photo. We're sad to have missed Manhattanhenge on the West Coast, but the picture certainly puts us in the moment.
