What's Going on in the JPG World

We've received a lot of wonderful emails this week about JPG Members winning contests, having their images featured, and then some wonderful "small world" coincidences. So let's start the weekend right with some awesome news-worthy news!
- JPG Members Adniloj and Kandi Champagne Cook have had their work accepted for the Photos For Health initiative, a program where selected images are displayed in different hospitals in the Indianapolis area to inspire patients, families and health care professionals. This program is actually open for submissions until September 7, 2008 and all the information is available on the
Photos for Health Website.

- JPGer Melissa Olsen's image "New Music" has been chosen for the 17th Annual National Juried Photography show which is presented by the Louisville Art Association in Louisville, Colorado. The show will be held from June 28 to July 6. If you're in the Louisville area, be sure to check out the event and root for Melissa's image.
New Music by Melissa Olsen - JPG Member Pamela Brumbley's work will be on display at The Meadow Hill Wellness Center in Annapolis, Maryland. The grand opening is tonight, so if you're in the Annapolis area and want to attend, you can find more info here.
- And—last but not least... JPG Member Casi Fleischman pointed out an incredibly adorable car from Rome popping up a few times on the site. Over on Flickr they're following the trail of this photogenic car. Perhaps Italy should consider dubbing this a monument?
