Photo Challenge: Folded Paper

Posted by Adam Hurly on 30 July 2008.

There is an extra step in this week's photo challenge. The theme is Folded Paper, so you have to be creative before you even set up your shot. A paper airplane seems simple enough, but for the intricate origami folds, try some tips from Oriland.com.

Kelly Lynn Jones of LittlePaperPlanes.com is our guest editor for this challenge. She helps emerging illustrators, painters, and printmakers find exposure to a wide audience, while also attracting buyers who are interested in expanding their art collections. An artist herself, Kelly knows the business and will use that intuition in picking her favorite photos.

This challenge lasts one week and closes August 6, so fold away my beautiful people.

And use caution when folding; we wouldn't want you getting a paper cut on your shooting finger. There are marvelous photos to be taken!

Speaking of marvelous photos, here are a few terrific examples for this challenge:

The World at my Fingertips by Francesca

Right At Ya! by Geoff Campbell

Origami by Anastacia Sholik

Paper Bliss by Jonathan Groman
