Happy Friday, JPG land, and what a busy Friday it is! I have a great deal of news for you today, so get excited... I am! All kinds of JPGers are representing with photography shows near and far!
- Yusuf Özkızıl has a series of exhibitions coming up in London. The first show will be at Frevd cafe-bar (one of my ABSOLUTE favorite places in London, seriously!), and will be from the 28th September to 25th October. The shows depict his surreal line photography, some of which is featured in his photo essay Tales of the Underground.
- Brian Brooks is having a solo show in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The show is called "Apperceptions & Contraptions" and runs October 8 through November 2.
Here are some examples of Brian's great work:
- Also in Ottawa, Tony Fouhse currently has an exhibition at the Redwall Gallery as part of Festival X.
Some of Tony's super shots:

Joli B has put together a great story to keep us all updated on the winners; she herself has had two photos selected. Congratulations to: Jessica Hardin, Steve Hogle, Natalie S, Patricia Shanahan, Jennifer Domke, and Alice Dalla Stella; special congrats to Samantha, who had nine photos selected!
