JPG Weather Report: Not For the Faint of Heart

So, I have a strange penchant for stormy weather. I love rain - both getting caught out in it, and listening to it indoors. That said, when it comes to truly severe weather, I'm a wimp. I'm terrified of tornadoes, despite having never been near one. And if the news coverage in the past month (and the past few years, for that matter) isn't enough to render everyone in the world petrified of hurricanes, I don't know what is. I'm a California girl. Earthquakes I can handle. Major weather, not so much.
Lest we dismiss this as a simple over-share blog post, I'm pleased to announce the opening of a new theme, dedicated to, you guessed it, severe weather. I'm even holding off on the sarcasm for this post, since serious weather is nothing to take lightly, as our friends in Galveston can certainly tell us. But, as many dark subject matters prove (this one both literally and figuratively), amazing photos can come out of scary times.
