Community Round-up!

Don't you just love hearing cool stuff going on with the JPG community? Us too!

  • Nick Turpin has been uploading photos from his jet-setting, unfairly awesome recent project. It seems Nick has been commissioned by Samsung to take street shots in cities all over the world every day for the next 28 days. The website for his project is at www.thephotographicadventuresofnickturpin.com. He seems to think that allowing the public to help direct the project will somehow lessen our extreme envy. He is completely wrong.

  • Street Photograph, Amsterdam, The Netherlands by Nick Turpin

  • We've heard of two more JPGers who are amongst the 100 finalists in the Metro Global Photo Challenge 2008. You can view and vote for JPG member Dario Sartini's photos here and check out Diana Lemieux's photos here.

  • Diana also has a photo in the 100 x 100 PHOTO exhibit in December at Barcelona's Espai[b]. 100 prints of this exhibiting photo will be available for purchase:

  • Untitled by Diana Lemieux

  • Also showing is JPG member Wissam Abdel Samad, whose exhibit "Out of the Shadows: Male Arabian Nudes) runs December 7-13 at Dunlaoi House in Co Cork, Ireland.

Yay! Have a great weekend everybody.
