Sunshine, sandy beaches, an exhibit of photographic art from around the globe, and $10,000 in awards?
Sounds like heaven... but it's happening in San Diego August 29 through November 1, 2009 at the Art of Photography Show.
Art of Photography is an international exhibition featuring all forms of photographic art -- images shot on film, shot digitally, unaltered shots, alternative process, mixed media, digital manipulations, montages, photograms, etc. The Show will be exhibited at the beautiful Lyceum Theatre Gallery, and judged by Charlotte Cotton, Curator and Head of the Photography Department at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
This is a high profile event, and one to consider if you are trying to get exposure for your work. Over 25,000 people are expected to view the exhibition during its run, and being selected by Charlotte Cotton is a big feather for your cap!
PLUS, there are hefty cash awards (totaling $10,000) for the top selections.
Submissions will be accepted through May 31st (11:59 PM PST).
