A Past Look at "The World of Tomorrow"

My life seems to be full of serendipity. Just one day after launching JPG's Issue 22 themes, my (non-JPG member) friend sends me a link to a YouTube video that is in perfect tune with my favorite of the themes, The World of Tomorrow. The video is full of amusing predictions by American fashion designers from the 1930s of what the well-dressed man and woman would be wearing in the year 2000. It wasn't the normal silly link she would send to me, which is why I was so amazed by the coincidence.
I thought JPG would appreciate this look at the present from the past, as we head into our own imaginations for Issue 22. There are a few remarkable things they do predict correctly (note the mobile phone). For all the men out there... you really should consider the "candy belt" for wooing ladies! Enjoy!
