News of the wacky out of Italy. The Wall Street Journal has a story today about the Triestina soccer team (okay, fine, football to those not in the US) in the city of Triesta. They have a 30,000 seat stadium it can’t fill with fans since the city only has a population of about 200,000. Their solution? Print pictures of fans on giant sheets of vinyl and stretch them over the empty seats.
