Elephants, Polar Bears, Darth Vader in the Snow: Daily Photo Feed 12/7

  • It's fire and ice at the Big Picture Blog. There's a collection of snowy scenes like the one of Darth Vader at the Bradenberg Gate in Berlin above as well as a set of pictures from the wildfire in Israel.

  • This concept camera will take simultaneous pictures both above and underwater and then stitch them together.

  • NPR has an interesting report on 350.org which uses aerial photography to bring attention to climate change. Below, Daniel Dancer captures 3,000 students and teachers in New Delhi asking us to acknowledge the "elephant in the room" that is the global warming.
