Amazing Photos Capture Aftermath of Japanese Quake

The news out of Japan isn't much better this Monday morning than it was on Friday, but striking images continue to emerge. ABC News in Australia has these before and after satellite images of the tsunami-affected areas of Japan. Above, the Sendai Airport.

And for the lack of a better descriptor, the "feel good" story that's getting lots of press is the 60 year old man, Hiromitsu Shinkawa, who was rescued from the roof of his house after it had floated ten miles out to sea. The amazing rescue picture below. The full story here.
