Frontline Profiles Chinese Artist and Photographer Ai Weiwei

Posted by David Ozanich — 30 Mar 2011

PBS aired a riveting episode of its signature news documentary series Frontline focusing on the Chinese artist and photographer Ai Weiwei. "Who's Afraid of Ai Weiwei?" examines his artworks, sculpture, and most interestingly, his detailed photo diary of his own life. He captures everything on film (especially his harassment by Chinese authorities) and shares most of it on his Twitter feed. That's him being arrested by Chinese police above. Truly, this is remarkable and I really recommend finding some time today to watch this - it's very moving, informative, and inspiring.
