I have been a photographer since the early 1980's. I began work shortly out of college as an assistant and printer for Arnold Newman. Following that I freelance assisted in NYC prior to moving to Chicago. My observations of urban and rural people and cultures are driven by exploring the unseen moments as well as disappearing customs and landscapes. Part of my work encompasses documentary photojournalism, while another facet explores a kind of anthropological social relations

Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?
A: Do you know?
