Michele Ivy Davis

has been a member since Mar 2009 and goes by MicheleIvyDavis.

I'm a grandma of four and freelance writer who, with a writing partner, specializes in articles and photographs for law enforcement and fire rescue/EMS magazines. I am also the author of the novel, Evangeline Brown and the Cadillac Motel, a book that has won national and international awards.

I've always enjoyed photography, and want to spend more time capturing this amazing world of ours. I've a lot to learn, but I'm willing -- have camera (and pen), will travel!

Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?

A: Do you know?
