has been a member since Nov 2008 and goes by MyaJamila.

I started taking photographs around 2003 with my father's old Pentax MZ-10 but I can't credit him with helping develop my love for it.
That I must leave to a family friend that took me out for a photo shoot and lent me one of her old manual 35mm cameras. I turned out some of what I think are my best photographs that day.

I am so very glad that photography is a part of my life now but I do wish I had been interested in it when I had lived in West Africa. My memories will only last so long...
