I am an amateur photographer who's beginnings are rooted in 35 mm black and white film. I've spent many hours in the darkroom developing my own prints. When life got too busy for my hobbies, I relegated my images to snapshots using point-and-shoot digital cameras. Recently, as prices have dropped, I've rediscovered photography through the aid of the digital SLR. I'm constantly learning and trying new things. Feel free to comment and critique, as I long to get better.

Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?
A: Do you know?
