For me, photographic expression is a vital outlet and source of balance to my life. I believe one of the important components of effective expression is "good seeing". Proust said: "The voyage of discovery lies not in finding new landscapes but in finding new eyes." My desire is to continue to become more attuned to the world around me, to discover the wonder and beauty of the familiar, to be expressive through my images, and to have those "new eyes" of which Proust speaks.
