I graduated from The Art Institute of Houston and hold a BFA in Graphic Design.

I've always loved everything about design and photography. I hope to grow as a designer and someday be able to create tangible things with my photography. What that might be, I have yet to figure out...but I do know, that whatever drives me to photograph and design is pushing me towards something incredible--whatever it is.

Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?
