Bette J. Kauffman
I teach in the areas of public relations, journalism and visual communication. Currently, I'm working on three photographic projects. One documents the post-Katrina flooding of New Orleans; it's called "Waterline: an interactive photo installation." I'm now turning it into a book & Website. Another explores the capabilities of the iPhone camera in a series called "iPhone Diary." The third combines silver prints from my own archive with found frames to create a series of unique art works.

Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?
