I am firstly an amateur in most things but I also strive to be an explorer. Henri Cartier-Bresson said “In photography, the smallest thing can be a great subject. The little, human detail can become a leitmotiv.” Marc Riboud said “Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second.” And further, Elliot Erwitt stated “To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place.” Somewhere in there is why I shoot.
