I am an engineer who graduated from Manhattan College in the field of Civil Engineering in 2006. I plan on continuing my career in the field of Enviornmental Engineering because I feel nature and environment is such an important aspect to life and also to photography.

My interest in photography began when I was about 22 years of age and I been loving it ever since.

Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?
