Hi, I’m Carl Roach. I’m currently a graduate student in the Literature Department of Purdue University. When I find myself with a little free time, which is rare, I love going out and taking a few photos. My favorite kind of photography is black and white. I love what can be done with the lines, sharpness, and contrast. Essentially, for me, black and white photography really emphasizes the lighting, which is what photography is all about.
