I'm actually a film director and have very little experience with still photography. I never took a camera anywhere. Not even on trips abroad. It always felt like a distraction.
In spring 2010 I traveled alone in India and decided to take a camcorder (Canon HV40) and for the first time in my life, documenting became a passion, not burden. The photos I posted were taken with my camcorder's automatic settings. They're all about the situations. Being a filmmaker, I am interested in story.

Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?
