I am Portuguese but do not speak the language as my father had issues with it during his childhood as it affected his education. I wish I would have learned it and so did my grandmother.

I was born and raised in northern California. I was the lead soloist at the church's children's choir and played trombone in grade school. I switched to an electric bass in a garage band in high school, a CW band after high school, and backed a piano bar guy that did mainly Pop and show tunes.
