Erik Naumann
In 1985, I was discovered caught in the crowded net of a group of surprised Japanese fishermen, overfishing in the Bering Sea. I was unable to communicate with my captors, and lived as a stowaway and prized mascot until we docked in Osaka. At this point I was taken in and raised by a clan of feral cats until I was captured by child services and shipped to a rehabilitation center in Sweden, where I learned to speak English.
I now reside in Montreal, Canada.
