Nicke Gorney
I'm a photographer who observes and interprets the narrative of everyday life. When you look at my work, you find character, place, a kind of visual storyline captured at a moment in time - an extraction of ordinary life that out of context seems extraordinary or abstract - much like one experiences novels or film. To capture an ethereal quality through the balance of technique and improvisation - light passing through color in infinite variations - is what fascinates me.
