I took my first photo class in London, 1995 and have been hooked ever since. When in London I even managed to get the teacher to give me an extra set of key to the darkroom so I could work at night. I like photographing people on location and mostly use studio lights, but I also like to try out alternative and older techniques.

Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?
