my work is an attempt to create something outside of myself that will serve as a map to my emotional landscape--and in so doing, create for the viewer an inquiry into the nature of his own. thus, art requires a human to human interaction of a spiritual nature. art is intentional. art asks questions, it doesn't provide answers. if the "artist" is asking the question, "who am i," when the piece is created, that is art by my definition.
