I am a 40-something Systems engineer, who was once a commercial photographer in a previous lifetime. I've gone digital and gotten back into serious photography after selling off most of my silver-based gear and buying some Pentax equipment. I love to "take pictures" - I eschew the more modern "capture" or "make images" as the gestalt, the end product, has not changed, only the process.
