I am an artist and educator from Atlanta, Georgia. I studied photography in college (mostly silver gelatin) and have taught photography at the high school level. While I am primarily a painter, I still manage to shoot an immense amount of photography (digital). I seek out texture, color, lines, perspective (exemplifying the elements of art) and try to find images that mimic non-objective painting. I vow to take as many polaroids as possible before there is no more film left!

Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?
A: Do you know?
