I'm a relative newbie to photography: I took a photography class a couple of years ago, and I've been hooked ever since. My favorite subjects are found in nature, and I absolutely love macro photography. I'm fascinated by all the little details that can't be seen with the naked eye, and I think that fascination and curiosity is directly linked to my 'day job' as a scientist.
Take some time to truly study something as mundane as a dandelion; I promise you'll see beauty.

Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?
A: Do you know?
