Mahmood Al-Yousif

has been a member since Dec 2007 and goes by malyousif.

When my dad saw both my cousin and I sitting on the steps of our home, in the full sun, with a black and white film strip which we held down on a notepaper in the hope that we would "make a picture", he went out and bought me a Russian made Zenith 35mm SLR. It was the cheapest available then I think, but it started my love of photography. 40 years later, that sense of "wow" never left me.

I hope you enjoy viewing my photographs as much as I have enjoyed "making" them!
