I am and I have been for a long time - fascinated by photography. I like contrasts, interesting shapes, the little, forgotten details - the changing of light, the way mist and fog is creating a new world around us and I think that I'm better in taking pictures of nature/outdoors and such than of people. I have a scientific background and am a European transplant now living in New England.
