I like to think of myself as an artist in many different media, though photography has become a major source of certain pieces or the final piece itself. I seem to be altering my pictures less and less, unless the concept calls for it. I've learned to take a camera everywhere now, "just in case."
I also have a blog just about my artwork:

Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?
