My first passion in jewelry, which brought photography to me in 2006 when I bought a 35MM Canon Rebel from a friend for the sole purpose of taking my own jewelry photos. As I got used to the camera, I began looking at everything around me in frames. I have since collected eight film cameras, but my primary ones are the Pentax K-1000 and the digital Canon Rebel T1i. My favorite shots are of life as it happens, whether it goes with my own beliefs or not.

Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?
