I live at Waltham Abbey and have reached the advanced years of 60.
I have loved photography for 30 years + and have Nikon D3 together with a 14-24mm f2.8, 24-70 f2.8 and 70-200mm f2.8 VR lens.
Up to then I'd been using (and still have) a Nikon F4 and a Mamiya RB67 with an assortment of lenses ranging from the 37mm to a 250mm (for the RB67).
My first digital camera was the Fuji S9500 which was alright until I wanted to go professional.

Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?
