Exxon has announced its record profits, again. Their fortune burns a thousand small fires beneath my skin. I can defeat big oil only with my imagination: As soon as I have enough cash to tear down the city of St. Louis and replace it with a jungle, I will throw a party in the Arctic Circle or the Amazon and send a solar-powered sleigh to pick up every lovely contact I've made here during the past year.
