A nature enthusiast, I grew up with a camera nearby to take pictures of wildlife along the family outings. I have grown into enjoying photography with its many facets, including portraits and family pictures. My current enthusiasm in photography is in architecture and photojournalism of socially responsible events, but I sometimes return to the rose garden with my macro lens to enjoy the world's beauty.

Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?
