I grew up in Vermont and I know that having been surrounded by that much natural beauty to this day still makes me partial to photographs of nature. Ansel Adams is my favorite for that. When it comes to portraiture I am drawn to the work of Annie Leibovitz. Those two might be cliché choices - but I can live with that. My husband is a musician & an entertainer...always making me laugh. So whatever humor or lack of seriousness appears in my work is probably due to his influence.
