I am a molecular biologist who loves photography. I love the small things in life (macros, sEM's, and tEM's) but never fell in love with the dark room. I never appreciated being around the chemicals, the baths, and the timers -- it was really easy to enjoy and appreciate digital camers and Photoshop! My job has made me the director of our fieldstation QERC in Costa Rica seeding my interest in montane cloud forests and the respelendent quetzal.
