Humans of New York

Shared by Cathaleen Curtiss — 25 Feb 2013

Brandon, a street photographer in New York City. Was approached by a representative of DKNY who asked to purchase 300 of his photos to hang in their store windows “around the world.” They offered $15,000. He asked for more money. They said “no.” Then they used them anyway without an agreement.

Ive read your story about DKNY....wow, how cheap can they get...absolutely you should get compensation for your pics. Not only should they donate 100,000 dollars to the YMCA...they need to give you plenty cash for using your pics....in fact, I would even sue them. How rude of a large Corp. So typical.

I agree that they should donate the money but he still should be paid for his pictures. That is terrible
