This lone stretch of beach is on Cape Cod. In case you may have noticed - I removed a shot very much like this one (in landscape). A fellow contributor pointed out that the first shot had a week, washed out sky and a sloping horizon line. And at the risk of all of the water dumping out of the photo into the server I decided to switch photos. I'm very grateful for that member's honest critique. That kind of feedback will ultimately make me a better photographer. Many thanks!

I agree - that's the way we learn. I didn't see the original, but I like this one. The various angles of the lines add interest.

Good exposure for all the elements, sand, water, sky. But I feel like I am blocked from the beach, with the big post blocking my way, but its all in your intentions, you could have intended to give that feeling of isolation and secrecy, so either way it works :D
