The 99 Tavern has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. It stands right off of main street in Winston OR (old highway 99), where I was born and raised. You can't miss it if your going or coming. When I was a bit younger I remember my grandma sending me down to see if gramps was there...lol. Not yet old enough to enter a drinking establishment, I would open the door and peek my head inside, or if I saw someone come out I would ask if they could go look for me :) Now that I'm older I have been in there a few times. I played the shuffleboard once. It's still sitting there, waiting for people to come have a cold drink and talk about the days work.
Taken while sitting passenger in my brothers car across the street getting gasoline.
