No, Nina wasn't mistreated. She just has one blue and one brown eye. We've actually had at least four dogs with this "condition". Nina is very striking in appearance, as you can see. She finally was adopted recently, after being with us for a LONG time, but was returned because she didn't get along with the adopters' cats. This happens sometimes, unfortunately, and I just can't understand why she hasn't found her perfect home ages ago. Maybe she's "too pretty"?
It's just a shame, but I know we'll find the right match for her in time...
