Morning Routine

Somewhere around 6 AM our hound, Sophie, begins to stir. She'll land between us in bed to let us know it's time to eat. If I show signs of a lack of enthusiasm in getting up she'll stand over me and begin to paw the covers off me. This always does the trick. Before I get the paper, before I get my coffee, before I go down to the computer and check JPG, she stands by the cabinet door wagging her tail and giving me The Look.

    Welcome to MY morning routine which also includes a Sophie ( a munsterlander) a jack russell and three cats. Nothing gets done until they've had their morning meal! I love those eyes.. how could anyone resist them.

    We're not sure how old she is Journaliste...she's a rescue. They thought she was about 8 months old when we got her in June of 2003. Someone had dropped her off and simply said she was a "bad dog." They must not have liked her pawing their covers off at 6 AM.
