No PS special effects...just a 30 second exposure with a little dodging and burning.

Just a 30 second exposure...15 seconds in i manually fired a flash and then took her out of the frame.

Sorry, was a little vague about that.
I had the camera on a tripod using a wired timer.
I fired the 30 second exposure...walked over to the model with a Canon 430EX in hand and manually fired the flash (hitting the pilot button).
In fact, if you look closely, you can actually see the flash itself at the bottom right hand side of her face.
The flash was in in Manual mode at 1/8 power.
Does that make sense? -
